The instructors behind each session

Each instructor has worked in game production for at least 8 years before moving into teaching. They bring actual pipeline experience, not textbook knowledge.

Tobias Fenwick — Lead 3D Art Instructor

Tobias Fenwick

Lead 3D Art Instructor

Spent 11 years as a senior environment artist at mid-size game studios in Europe. Specialises in PBR material workflows and Unreal Engine 5 scene assembly.

Yelena Ostrova — Character Animation Specialist

Yelena Ostrova

Character Animation Specialist

Rigged and animated characters for 4 shipped titles across mobile and console. Covers Maya rigging, motion capture cleanup, and blend-shape facial systems.

Kwabena Asante

Technical Art Director

Bridges art and engineering — his sessions cover shader graphs, LOD systems, and optimising assets for real-time rendering within strict polygon budgets.

With 9 years in AAA development, Kwabena focuses on the technical decisions that separate a good-looking asset from one that actually runs at 60 fps.

How sessions work

Live feedback, not recorded lectures

Each webinar runs with a maximum of 30 participants so the instructor can review work in real time. Students share screens, get direct critiques, and ask questions mid-demonstration.

Sessions average 90 minutes, with the last 20 reserved for one-on-one feedback on submitted assets. Recordings stay available for 14 days after broadcast.

Pre-session asset review

Submit work 24 hours before the session. Instructors prepare targeted feedback rather than generic commentary.

Demonstration with commentary

Instructors work through problems live, explaining decisions as they make them — not polished presentations prepared in advance.

Post-session resource pack

Each session ships with reference files, node graphs or rig setups used during the broadcast — practical material, not slide decks.
